As mothers we carry a lot. From the moment we wake up, until our head hits the pillow there are needs to respond to.
The demands of life seem constant and bottomless, yet your energy fluctuates. There are days when you feel on top of the world, and days when you are scrambling to hold it together. Days when you just want that hour to catch your breath and feel the ground.
You've tried to get that time for yourself, but when you finally decide to step on that yoga mat, read the book or call your friend, something always gets in the way, cutting your time short. Because they matter and need you.
The truth is, when rest is something you try to squeeze in whenever you can, it often becomes something that never happens.
Imagine a day when you can press pause on all the tasks and to-do lists, when the tempo slows down and the noise quietens.
-
A day when you get fed delicious food and don't even have to clean up (let alone cook).
-
A day to move your body in a way that feels good.
-
An opportunity to have a meaningful conversation (or two) without getting interrupted.
-
Time to rest more deeply than what your regular night has to offer.

Modern motherhood leaves very little space to restore energy to keep giving.

This day retreat is especially for you if...
-
You often feel like your energy is lower than the demands of your life
-
You find yourself reacting more quickly when you are tired
-
You rarely have time that is truly yours
-
You know true rest helps you feel better, but it rarely happens consistently
-
You know you can show up better for those around you, but life is preventing you from remembering what that even looks like
-
You regularly place others' needs ahead of yours
This is your opportunity to restore yourself in a way that feels joyful, without guilt or the need to achieve anything.
And when you return to your daily reality, you do so with a fresh spark of remembering of who you are beneath the roles you take on. You get to show up more present, lighter, patient and nourished.
What to expect
With less doing and more being, the day follows a natural rhythm of restoration:
-
Release: Gentle movement to unwind tension.
-
Restore: Deep rest through guided yoga nidra.
-
Reflect: Quiet journaling and conversation.
-
Re-emerge: A cacao ceremony to reconnect with your vitality and celebrate.

"Taking part in Pavlina's yoga nidra course for mums in Copenhagen has been one of the most restorative experiences I’ve had since becoming a parent. The space felt gentle and welcoming from the very first session—a rare moment in the week where I could exhale fully and reconnect with myself without guilt or pressure." - Etelle

About your guide
Pavlina is a mother, teacher and long-time practitioner of yoga, meditation and breathwork.
As a working mum to two young children, living away from extended family support, she understands how full and demanding this season of life can be. The practices she has been immersed in for over 20 years became essential when she became a mother — a way to clear the fog, restore her energy and feel like herself again.
Today, she blends science-informed nervous system work with the depth of yogic tradition to create spaces that feel safe, restorative and quietly powerful.
When she’s not holding space or training others to teach, you’ll find her by the sea or in the kitchen, restoring in simple ways.
